IT Symposium II

Definition: Under the patronage of his Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Janahi, President of Bahrain University, the College of Information Technology is organizing its Second Symposium entitled "Information Technology… Beyond the Future" The symposium aims to acquaint participants with the latest developments the field of Information Technology and represent a ring connecting between the participants and demands in that field. This symposium will reveal Information Technology in its reality and perspectives of its future, Representatives of international companies with a strong interest in Information Technology will take part and discuss current innovations and future trends. The symposium will also deal with the repercussions of the Information Technology revolution in the Kingdom of Bahrain.	التعريف: تحت رعاية رئیس جامعة البحرين الدكتور إبراھیم جناحي تنظم جمعیة كلیة تقنیة المعلومات بجامعة البحرين ملتقى تقنیة المعلومات الثاني (تقنیة المعلومات.. ما وراء المستقبل) ويمثل ھذا الملتقى حلقة وصل بین المشاركین ومتطلبات العصر في مجال تقنیة المعلومات، حیث سیتطرق الملتقى إلى واقع تقنیة المعلومات والنظرة المستقبلیة لھا، حیث سیكون للشركات العالمیة المتخصصة لمجال تقنیة المعلومات حضور بارز في ھذا الملتقى، كما ستتم مناقشة تجاربھم العملیة في مجال تقنیة المعلومات وامكانیة توظیف ھذه التقنیات بصورة أفضل مستقبلا، وسیتناول ھذا الملتقى تأثیرات ثورة تقنیة المعلومات على الواقع المحلي بشكل عام وامكانیات الإستفادة منھا وتطويرھا.

Main Objectives: 1. To acquaint the participants with the types of specializations available for Information Technology majors, as well as the current state of the local job market and its needs. 2. To help participants follow current developments and requirements of the job market. 3.To study current developments in Information Technology in order to discern future directions	الأھداف الرئیسیة: 1. الاطلاع على الفرص المتاحة لتخصصات تقنیة المعلومات، وتزويد المشاركین - بصورة واضحة عن واقع سوق العمل واحتیاجاته. 2. توجیه المشاركین للاھتمام بمجريات سوق العمل ومتطلباته، ودمجھم في - أجواء العمل. 3. عرض ومناقشة واقع وتأثیرات تقنیة المعلومات على المستقبل

Main pivots First pivot: Information Technology and Organizations Requirements Today, the term “information technology” has ballooned to encompass many aspects of computing and technology. So, the aim behind the first day is to provide a full and clear picture about the current statues of Information Technology and organizations requirements. And this will be provided by discussing the gained experiences and the current applications of Information Technology in a number of well known organizations in Bahrain and Middle East. In addition to that, the future requirements and the development opportunities will be discussed as part of the first day. Second pivot: Catching Up With the World Information technology is one of the fastest growing fields and everyday there is a huge number of updates. So, the aim behind the second day is to catch up with the latest updates. In order to gain this goal, the latest technologies and its application aspects will be discussed by a number of leading companies in field of Information technology development. In addition to that, the expected progresses and the future development requirements will be discussed as a part of the second day. Third pivot: Growing Talents is Critical for the Innovation Information Technology is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and it has a direct affection on the world economy. From this point the third day is going to discuss the economical view of the future of Information Technology and its innovations in the Middle East and the world. In addition to that, the current global opportunities and its future benefits will be discussed as part of the third day.	المحـاور الرئيسيــة اليوم الأول: Information Technology and Organizations Requirements هي الواقعية حينما تمتزج بالحلم .. صورة حية لسوق العمل في مجالات تقنية المعلومات، عبر محاكاة للحقل التطبيقي والمجال المهني، وذلك بتسليط الأضواء على تطبيقات موسعة للتقنية المعلوماتية ومناقشة تجارب وخبرات تنقل الصورة التقريبية لطبيعة متطلبات السوق، المشاكل والتحديات الموجودة فيه، مهارات التطوير والإبداع في المجالات المختلفة، وكيفية برمجة الطموحات والتطلعات إلى واقعٍ ملموس ضمن الإمكانيات المطروحة والظروف المحيطة .. ومن ثم سيتم التطرق إلى مستقبل هذه التقنيات، والاتجاه الذي يسلكه السوق وتأثير ذلك على المؤسسات والحقل المهني لاحقًا. اليوم الثاني: Catching Up With the World نظرًا لاستحداث الطرح التقني بصورة دورية سريعة، ونتيجة لتتابع المستجدات على أرض الواقع، فمتابعة المجريات ضرورة أساسية، وسبل التطبيق من أهم المجالات والنطاقات التي يجب الاطلاع عليها واستخلاص التجارب المؤثرة في سوق العمل؛ لذا فاليوم الثاني سيُخصَص لبحث التقنيات المستحدثة وسبل الاستفادة منها بصورة شاملة، وذلك في حوار حي مع شركات عالمية رائدة خاضت عددًا من التجارب والأبحاث في الحقل التقني ومستقبل هذه التطورات على الصعيد العالمي. اليوم الثالث: Growing Talents is Critical for the Innovation بحسب الرؤية العالمية لمجالات التقنية والمعلومات، ونظرًا لاتساع الرقعة المستقبلية لهذه التخصصات، سيبحث اليوم الثالث الأوضاع الحالية وعلاقاتها بالتقنية والتكنولوجيا. ولن يكون البحث في التطبيقات العملية فحسب، فالطفرة الاقتصادية ذات علاقة وثيقة بالتخصصات المعلوماتية، وستتاح الفرصة في هذا اليوم لإلقاء الضوء على هذه المسالك ومناقشة الفرص العالمية وكيفية الاستفادة منها، إضافة إلى المتطلبات المستقبلية ونطاقات التقاطع فيما بينها والفرص.
